CALL FOR PAPERS – 32nd Finance Forum

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 16, 2025
The Public University of Navarre is proud to host the 32nd Finance Forum, the Annual Meeting of the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN).
The Finance Forum will take place at the Public University of Navarre (Campus Arrosadía situated in Pamplona) on July 3-4, 2025.
We are honored to announce Professor Turan G. Bali (Georgetown University) and Professor Philipp Schnabl (New York University) as the keynote speakers.
The Finance Forum will also feature a PhD Mentoring Day to be held on the 2nd of July (the day before the conference) where PhD students will present their research and receive feedback from top specialists in their fields.
PhD students can submit to both the Finance Forum and the PhD Mentoring Day. AEFIN will provide scholarships for the papers presented at the PhD Mentoring Day by covering the registration fee to the Finance Forum plus the accommodation.
The Finance Forum and the PhD Mentoring Day invite submissions in all areas of Financial Economics research, such as (but not limited to): Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Banking, Portfolio Choice and Asset Management, Microstructure, Regulation, Financial Stability and Macrofinance.
Important dates:
- Paper Submission Deadline: February 16, 2025
- Paper Acceptance Decision: March 30, 2025
- Early Registration: April 1 – April 30, 2025
- Late Registration: May 1 – June 30, 2025
- Finance Forum: July 3 – 4, 2025
- PhD Mentoring Day: July 2 2025
Submission Procedure
Submission will be done through Conference Maker-32nd Finance Forum.
You can submit your paper/s to both the Finance Forum and to the PhD Mentoring Day (with a specific track) through the following link before the deadline of 16th of February 2025:

Authors will be notified of the acceptance decision by March 30, 2025.
Paper Submission Payment:
There is a single 50€ fee per paper submitted to the Finance Forum. No papers will be processed without the payment. Submitting more than one paper implies payment for each paper.
Submissions to the PhD Mentoring Day and single author papers submitted by PhD students to the 32nd Finance Forum are exempt from submission fees. To apply this exemption it is necessary to send a PhD certificate to 32financeforum@unavarra.es.
To the submission payment, please fill out the following form

PhD Mentoring Day Coordinator
Coordinated by Scientific Committee Director, Roberto Steri (University of Luxembourg), the PhD Mentoring Day will be held on July 2, 2025, one day prior to the start of the 32nd Finance Forum. It will include:
Mentoring sessions: where our outstanding invited mentors will discuss the latest advances in research and offer career advice for the PhD students.
Parallel sessions: where a reduced number of PhD students will have the opportunity to present their work and receive feedback from our mentors, the members of the scientific committee and other guest scholars.
Pamplona Before San Fermín: A Unique Experience
As the days leading up to San Fermín (6th July) approach, the city of Pamplona already begins to transform with an incredible atmosphere. The streets come alive with excitement, and the festive spirit is palpable throughout the city. This is a wonderful time to experience Pamplona, as the city is buzzing with energy even before the official celebrations begin.

We encourage you to mark your calendars and book your accommodations for the conference as soon as possible. To ensure availability, make your hotel reservations before the dates specified by each of the concerted accommodations. If you plan to stay for San Fermín, we recommend booking your stay well in advance, as rooms fill up quickly during this world-famous festival.
